Incentive Navigator is a software company. We publish the data, the eligibility logic, and the API — and then we get out of the way.
01 Why we exist
The incentive market has no index.
Public money for energy and building improvements is genuinely abundant and genuinely difficult to locate. It is distributed across thousands of independent administrators — federal agencies, state energy offices, counties, cities, water districts, and every investor-owned and municipal utility in the country — none of whom publish in a common format or coordinate their timing.
The result is a market where availability and awareness are almost entirely disconnected. Projects get built without funding that was sitting there the whole time.
Every other industry solved this with an index and an API. That is the entire thesis behind Incentive Navigator.
02 How we operate
Every claim is sourced
Program records link to the authoritative source and carry a last-verified date. If we cannot point at where a rule came from, it does not ship. You should be able to audit us.
The API is the product
The interface is one client among several. Anything you can see, you can query, export, and embed — because lock-in is not a feature we are interested in building.
03 The team
Four people who have done the hard version of this.
