01 Terms of service

Acceptance
By accessing or using the Incentive Navigator website, platform, or API, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
What the service is
Incentive Navigator provides informational data about publicly available incentive programs. It is a research and workflow tool. It is not legal, tax, accounting, engineering, or financial advice, and no attorney-client or advisory relationship is created by using it.
Accuracy and reliance
We work to keep program records accurate and to disclose when each was last verified against its source. Program terms are set by third-party administrators and can change without notice. Eligibility determinations are made by those administrators, not by us. You are responsible for verifying any program's requirements before relying on them for a financial decision.
Acceptable use
You may not scrape, resell, or redistribute the data outside the terms of your subscription, attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls, or use the service to build a competing incentive database.
Accounts
You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
Subscriptions
Paid plans renew for successive terms unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a signed agreement.
Intellectual property
The platform, interface, database structure, and eligibility logic are owned by Incentive Navigator. Underlying program information originates with public administrators. Your own data remains yours.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Incentive Navigator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any incentive that is denied, reduced, clawed back, or missed. Aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Privacy policy
What we collect
Account information you provide (name, email, organization), property addresses and search parameters you enter, and standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
Why we collect it
To operate the service, return accurate results, monitor programs on your behalf, communicate about your account, and improve match quality. We do not sell personal information.
Property data
Addresses and portfolio data you upload are used to produce your results and are retained in your workspace until you delete them. We may use aggregated, de-identified query patterns to improve coverage; we do not disclose your specific properties to third parties.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. Non-essential cookies are only set with consent.
Service providers
We share data with vendors who host, secure, and support the platform, under contracts limiting their use of it to providing those services.
Retention
Account and property data is retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations, then deleted or de-identified.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users of a breach as required by law.
